Hi, my name is Britt. Don’t judge my bangs… I grew them out!
My whole adult life, I’ve been searching for passive and low maintenance income that will allow me to make great money while spending most of my time with my kids. I’ve got four of the little buggers and they take up a lot of time, but I love them anyway.
I’ve tried to start several businesses, I’ve tried several MLMs (I don’t recommend it unless you’re super outgoing and have no problem monetizing your relationships), I’ve tried social media affiliate video marketing, I’ve tried building websites for businesses, the list goes on and on…
That’s not to mention the dumb surveys and rebates and point sites you’re supposed to pour your time into. I once tried to qualify for a survey that was supposed to pay $75. I thought I’d hit the jackpot! I got disqualified after 45 minutes of answering questions!! I was pissed. I’d lost that time and had nothing to show for it. That was the end of surveys for me!
If you’re anything like me, you consider time your most precious resource. You know, all that jazz about how you have 86,400 seconds in a day and once their gone, they’re gone? I feel that down in my ventricles!
Too graphic? Sorry!
Anyway, I spent 6 years listening to all the bloggers, trying to make things work.
But alas. Nada, zip, zilch, no-thing. Crickets.
Can I tell you, it’s HARD to fail that much. There comes a point where you wonder if you are capable of making ANYTHING work!
So we did the only thing we could think of. We sold our house!
If you’ve ever owned a house, you know this isn’t as easy as it sounds. We had a great house, we had 6 acres, we had chickens and ducks and goats and cows and sheep (only a few of each, but STILL!). We were highly invested in our little homestead. But we knew we had to do it.
We moved across the country. And we started over. But this time, we weren’t foolish. We found some opportunities that are different. They aren’t vague and ambiguous. They are step-by-step, software supported, real ways to make consistent money monthly without having to leave your family for a day job.
Every opportunity I share with you costs less than a semester of college (some cost WAY less), and you get to run your life your way.
I definitely think college is a sound investment IF:
a. you’re going into a field that requires heavy specific training (i.e. medical, scientific, etc.)
b. you are a solid student with organizational skills and strong work ethic
c. you know exactly what you want to do for the majority of your life
You have to meet all these requirements or college probably won’t work for you. And if it does work for you?
a. you will graduate with heaps of debt unless you have wealthy parents or you got scholarships
b. you are constrained to the field you graduated in, and you have to start over if you wander outside that field
To a free spirit like myself, that is misery. I want the freedom to live my life on my terms.
